Why did Kardama Muni ask blessings and permission from his son, Kapila Muni, to go to the forest to meditate on the Lord, when Kapila was the Lord Himself? Why did he just not stay at home with him? Should we see nature and the universe as something purely material? Why do sages prefer to live in the forest?
